Below, I will need to modify the pre-signed URL in order to allow it to persist for more than 12 hours… right now that is the limit.

I have a customer who sells bird beds. I jokingly tease her because I don’t understand the excitement or the devotion exhibited by fans of these bird beds. It was during one of these ’teasing sessions’ that I started to understand the scope of the effort this customer expends trying to satisfy her orders.

First, there is the size of the birds. Then there is the type of the birds. Sparrows are quite popular. Next the number and placement and the orientation of the birds. Customers are actually describing where they want the birds placed as well as where they are ’looking’, i.e. their orientation.

I thought I might be able to help by automating this process. What follows is an iteratively improved process that will, when completed, collect most of the information necessary to satisfy a bird bed order. Here are some of the items that need to be addressed:

• number of birds
• type of birds
• the size of the birds
• color of the birds
• the orientation of the birds
• they type of headboard and footboard desired, prior to bird placement

In other words, one first configures the basic bed - type of headboard, type of footboard - and then adds the birds to the headboard and footboard. Again, the number and placement can vary along with the other parameters. There may even be variation between the birds on a single bed.
